Navratri is soon upon us!
Last year I’d styled some looks, which received great response & likes from all of you. So, I thought why not do style some more looks for this year!
Theme remains the same: Indo-Bohemian Fusion
This festival of 9 days is all about celebration and dance !!!
Garba and dandiya nights are something we all love whether we know how to dance or not!
Dress-up and putting on jewelery are the highlights of Navratri, except of course the dances & events organized to celebrate the occasion.
I know there are a lot of you who wish to dress up but don’t have an extravagant budget to work with, worry not guys… that’s when fusion styling works the best and is always in trend.
So I have created two looks, which you can easily re-create with the clothes you already have 🙂
The first look, I am wearing an embroidered colourful blouse with a cotton yellow skirt which I actually bought during street-shopping spree.
I’ve added a corset belt, for those who might not be fond of showing their naval, this is a most likely option, not to forget that it gives a contemporary touch paired with those boots!
Oxidised jewelery is really trending now a days and teams up well with Indian as well western outfits ..
For the second look, I paired of my Mom’s old kurti with a denim, which I recently purchased from @splash Store. The denim has a bohemian style embroidery at the ankle.
I made some changes to the kurti: I have stitched some codiya(white colour small pear shape thing) which is the major essence of a garba outfit.
Bindi and junk jewellery is the highlight of my fusion styling … and it will do wonders for you guys as well… try it…
